Entranceway

The door has a clear opening of 33 inches and there is a large storage closet immediately to the left as you enter the apartment. The entrance to the bathroom is to the right.

 

Kitchen

The kitchen is a nice sized galley style with 33 inch high (914 mm) counters and faucets, electrical switches and power outlets within easy reach. There is a counter top stove, a built-in oven, a microwave oven, a large pantry and a pull-out work counter to the left of the sink shown in photo 3.

     

Bathroom

The bathroom has a sliding door with a clear opening of 33 inches (838 mm). There is sufficient clear floor space to allow maneuverability for an individual in a wheelchair. Note the roll-in shower and grab bars as illustrated in the photos above. Knee clearance under the sink is 27 inches (686 mm).


 

Living / Dining Room

The floor plan is an open concept design similar to a bachelor apartment and does not have a separate bedroom. The dining area is to the left as you pass by the kitchen and is shown in Photo 8 to the left.

  

 

The living area is shown in Photo 9 to the right. The unit is on the ground floor and the doorway visible in the photo leads to an outdoor patio shown in Photo 11 on the following page.


Sleeping Area

The sleeping area is to the right after you pass the kitchen. There is a ceiling track lift mounted over the bed (see Photo 10).
