The In Community provides programs and services that maximize opportunities for seniors and people with physical disabilities to be fully integrated in the community, realize their true capacity for independence and enable them to remain in their community environment.
We take a leadership role in the identification of unmet needs and gaps in service and advocates for change. We work collaboratively with a region - wide network of organizations committed to building a strong, inclusive community for all.
Founded in 1957, The In Community (formerly Disabled Persons Community Resources) is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring the independence, inclusion and integration of seniors and people with physical disabilities in the Ottawa area.
