- Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for the effective governance of the agency and oversees its operation. The Board of Directors meets monthly from September to June.
- Evaluation Committee
The Evaluation Committee evaluates the programs and services of the agency.
- Marketing and Communications Committee (M&C)
The M&C Committee advises and supports the communications, public relations and marketing strategies and activities to increase the level of awareness and understanding of the work of the agency throughout the community.
- Research and Development Committee (R&D)
The Research and Development Committee supports the advocacy and public education activities of the agency and its community partners through focused research on specific issues having an impact of the lives of people with disabilities. The Committee meets on a monthly basis from September to June.
- Selection Committee
The Selection Committee admits and discharges applicants for the Integrated Housing Program. The Committee recommends policies and procedures to the Housing Committee and advises on issues concerning clients and applicants. The Committee meets at the call of the Chair.
- Nominating, Recruitment and Development Committee (NRD)
The NRD Committee is an administrative committee appointed annually by the Board of Directors. This committee reviews the terms of office of current Directors and committee chairs/vice-chairs; identifies upcoming vacancies and the specific expertise and representation required to fill them; proposes a slate of potential candidates for Board membership and executive officers for approval at the Annual General Meeting. The Committee meets three times a year.
